Uploading Books on the Web

Upload eBooks you already own from the BookFusion web app. To upload from a phone or tablet, see Uploading Books on Mobile.

Before You Start​

  • Make sure your files are in a supported format and are DRM-free. BookFusion can't open files locked with DRM, such as books tied to another store's app.
  • Free accounts can store up to 10 books in the cloud. Paid plans raise or remove that limit. Check your plan in Account settings.

Upload a Book​

To upload a book:

  1. Open your Bookshelf, the main view you see after signing in.

  2. Click Upload in the top-right corner of the screen.

  3. In the Upload Books window, either:

    • Drag one or more files from your computer onto the window, or
    • Click Select Files, choose the files, and click Open.

  4. Each book appears in the window when it finishes uploading. Add more files if you need to, then close the window.

    Your new books appear at the front of your Bookshelf when it's sorted by Recently added.

Upload several at once

Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (macOS) to select several files in the file picker, or drag a group of files onto the window. To move a large collection, see Importing an Existing Library.

Large files, such as high-resolution PDFs or comics, take longer to upload and process. Keep the window open until the book finishes uploading.
